How do I study for the ASVAB?
The ASVAB consists of material mostly taught in high school. My first bit of advice would be to do your best in high school. If you are out of school now, the next best way to study is with online material.
My wife Makenna actually made a video about how she was studying for the ASVAB. Watch the video HERE

How do I tell my parents I'm joining the military?
Telling your parents you want to join the military can be difficult because many parents don't understand what life in the military is really like.

What military branch should I join?
I made a blog post talking about this subject and you can check it out HERE. Each branch of the military is different. I suggest you do your research and see what each branch can offer to you and what you want out of that experience. Write down everything you want out of your military experience and then see which branch matches up with the most of your desires. Overall, this is a decision that you will have to make for yourself.

Applicants must be at least 17 (with guardian signature) or 18 and older as long as you go to Basic Military Training before your 40th birthday.

Should I join the military or go to College/Trade School?
Much like what branch and job you should choose, this comes down to weighing your options. Write down all the reasons why you want to go to school, then right down the reasons you want to join the military. Then write down how those reasons will benefit your future (If you haven't noticed by now, writing everything out really helps when it comes to decision making).
Compare the two sides and see which one makes more sense for your goals and future ambitions. Then follow what is best for you. Again, this is a choice that only you can make and should be proud of yourself, no matter what you choose.
